CODEHUNTERS In the not too distant future, four heroes join forces to battle corrupt gangs, dirty cops, rampaging monsters and the tyrannical Khan, in the crumbling city of Lhek.
KNOCK KNOCK An anxious traverse across the city at first light. It's dawn and time to confront his demons once more. Where is he going and what does he want? Knock Knock.… an addict with a difference and a dealer with a twist.
REPTILE DAY The heroes of Reptile Day - that day when all the reptile's heads exploded - have chosen to live a quiet life, but can they keep it that way?
HUNGRY FOR LOVE A surreal twisted tale about the relationship between a man and his dog when a pancake bride interferes.
REBEL SONG Three souls play out their broken lives amongst the swaying trees, singing hymns of love, lust and murder.
I MET THE WALRUS In 1969, a 14-year-old Beatles fanatic, Jerry Levitan, snuck into John Lennon's hotel room in Toronto and convinced John to do an interview. Jerry, now a 51-year-old attorney, tells his story.

"The S2F2 International Festival"
Films from all round the globe, illustrating the diverse cultures and concerns that attract Filmmakers in their own part of the world. From documentaries to animation, humour to drama, there is an exciting difference in their work. Films from Canada, Russia, Australia, Austria, the Americas, Europe, even Turkey and Iran.
FOR A FEW MARBLES MORE Four ten-year-olds are kicked out of their favourite playground by two aggressive drunkards. When they realise their parents are not going to help them, there's only one solution. They have to find a way to get the toughest boy in the neighbourhood to help them.
1977 A small town, a growing knot and a girl searching for her identity.
PLAYGROUND Two young brothers trespassing on a building site are chased and cornered by a guard dog. Rescued by the dog's unlikely master, Floyd, the boys enter his unworldly 'playground' where a fragile friendship is formed and tested.
DIRTY GIRL Dirty Girl chronicles cancer surgery from a female patient's perspective. Frightened and anxious, the woman's mind wanders as she imagines the battle between her dirty, cancerous tumours and the surgeon.
DOWNSTAIRS Ibrahim is a worker living with his wife and two children. Everyday is the same to him, he goes out, he gets to work, stops by the café and the pub. When he is on day shift, he wakes up at night, when he is on night shift he has to sleep during day hours.
WADERRA When an Aboriginal father and his son are confronted by the body of a suicide victim, the farther is compelled to tell his son the history of the cliffs they are fishing from and the spirits that continue to roam there today.
THE MAN I NEVER KNEW How can you miss someone who was never there to be missed? It is as simple as playing chess with eternity.
FEASIBILITY STUDY:INDULGING ANXIETY
Feasibility Study is an illustration of a man's anxious emotional struggle the day after being terminated from his job.
ALICJA WONDERLAND So he sat on, with eyes closed and half believed himself with Alicja, though he knew he had but to open them again and all would change to dull reality - the grass would only be rippling in the wind, and the pool rippling to the waving of the reeds.
SOLITUDE A stone colossus has lived a lonely life on his barren planet for thousands of years. Worn out by his solitude he decides to change his fate.
CARTOON SAINTS AND VILLAINS 'M' is a no mess, no fuss, no trace, unassuming secretive assassin who displays a cool and detached exterior. He has no emotional attachment towards his marks whatsoever.
But 'M' has a condition. And he has voices in his head that will not shut up!!!
THE BOY NEXT DOOR A male prostitute, who struggles with anxiety attacks, runs into the neglected son of his client He now has to care for someone else first in order to overcome his own anxiety.
PORQUE HAY COSAS QUE NUNCA SE OLUIDAN
(BECAUSE THERE ARE THINGS YOU NEVER FORGET) Naples ( Italy ), 1950. Four friends are playing soccer out on the street when their ball is accidentally kicked into the evil old lady's yard. They will never play with their ball again,,, and for that the revenge will be deadly.

S2F2 are contributing to the year of LIVERPOOL European Capital of Culture by showing yet another cultural side great area. Liverpool, one of the most photogenic and filmed cities in Europe, also has its share of talented Film Makers. We are proud to present a Programme of films from S2F2 2005 - 2007, all of them made in, around, or by Filmmakers associated with Liverpool and its surrounds.
COFFEE A man starts seeing things in his local café, could it be the coffee?
FINDING ME Ever been frightened and filled with self-doubt? Ever wondered who you are? Follow a young girl on her magical journey and try to discover the truth about yourself.
MR. CHRISTMAS George Gray lives in Doncaster and every year at Christmas, he has something special planned for the local community. Something that has gained him infamy over the years and the title "Mr. Christmas".
THE COLLECTOR A strange creature with a unique hobby.
THE SHED Something sinister is watching from the shed.
FLIGHT The presence of a little girl stops a desperate man from jumping off a building and plunging to his death. However, he is not the only one who needs rescuing.
RUBY AND DIAMONDS A handsome, mystery man from Bombay charms wedding guests only to disappear as mysteriously as he arrived.

I'M GOING TO LIVE FOREVER Maureen always wanted to be famous but when she achieves her ambition, will it turn into a nightmare?

THE CENSOR Cedric, a drone of the BBFC, decides to enforce the rules of censorship on various victims with the help of his razor sharp editing scissors…! Snip! Snip!
I MET THE WALRUS In 1969, a 14-year-old Beatle fanatic named Jerry Levitan armed with a reel-to-reel tape deck, snuck into John Lennon's hotel room in Toronto and convinced John to do an interview short piece for his school paper. Jerry is now a 51-year-old attorney who's made a film about it.
WORMS A ruthless sadistic killer calls the police to confess his crime. Sarah Farren an inexperienced recruit naively tries to help him until she finally realises his true horrifying motive.
BLIND DATE A blind date in a pub goes wrong for the would-be suitor.

DER OHRRING While reading on Southport pier, Pearl finds an old earring that magically transports her into a world of romance, danger and German Expressionism. There she meets the dashing Fritz and the evil Ringmaster - but will she ever return?
PREGNANT MOMENTS Kev, a lay about lad, can't stop getting girls pregnant, but when he gets pregnant himself he gets a taste of his own medicine.
GEORGES PRIZE The childlike George follows his mischievous friend Filer on an autumn adventure involving bouncing balls. But perhaps there is more at stake…?
MY DAD MADE A SEAGULL Follow up to the multi-award winning 'My Mum the Wrestler', sees the child star negotiating her terms to appear in the sequel.
ROOM TO LET Joe views a 'room to let' and moves in, joining Amanda the other tenant. Strange events begin to occur in the flat, and Amanda's boyfriend Guido mysteriously disappears. On the radio we hear a mass murderer is on the loose in London. Joe becomes paranoid fearing that Amanda could be the killer. He starts to experience bizarre hallucinations, but are these delusions real?
ARCADIA A surreal drama of dark comedy and intrigue, in which live-action actors inhabit a fully realised cardboard city-world.
FISH EYE What if your world was one of blurred vision and muffled voices, a world big and confusing? Like a fairground fish helplessly sloshing round in a cheap plastic bag and what if you had a big secret to tell?
LILLIE An old woman's pleasure is playing her old 78" records on the gramophone.
BENE 'N' BURNLEY What can one drink tell you about class, identity and industrial decline? In Burnley one particular drink speaks volumes. Benedictine, produced at the ornate Palais Benedictine in France, is sold throughout the world as an up market liqueur. This film examines the drinks heartland - working class Burnley.
THE LAST NOEL -THE COLLECTOR PART 2 An unfit guardian of a small child gets an uninvited guest on a cold Christmas eve.
BACK IN TEN An ordinary trip to a DIY store takes and extraordinary turn when seven-year-old Isaac meets Janice Joplin eating an ice cream in the corner of the car park.
CORPORATE LIONS Two corporate workers clash with their tyrannical boss. When they hear what they think is him talking to a prostitute, they decide to bribe him.
SMALL THINGS A Psychiatrist becomes increasingly alarmed at a young man's relationship with his new girlfriend.
THE DIARY OF TOMMY CRISP The permanently bewildered Tommy and his cantankerous wife Susan, who's bad luck began on their honeymoon with an unfortunate peddle-boat accident due to Tommy's terminal awkwardness, try to change their luck at a 'special' adult party, in the home of one of the town's more liberated swingers.
SNOWTIME We re-join Colin, as he takes Cumberland for a walk in a snowstorm. Colin complains about the weather while Cumberland does his best to ignore him.

RENT A MATE Clarence Leek is a very lonely man. His only friend is his Goldfish, Bob. He is about to reach age thirty, but whom is he going to celebrate his Birthday Party with?
SCHRODINGERS BIRO A sci-fi comedy in which Claude puts the world in danger by inadvertently drilling a hole into another universe…. can he save the day?
RUBY Ruby, a modern day version of 'Little Red Ridding Hood'. Ruby a 16-year-old girl spends her time between school and caring for her grandmother and sister Julie. When Julie's boyfriend, Louis, takes an interest in grandmother's savings all seems lost for Ruby.
LLANGOLLEN RAILWAY A documentary about the past, present and future of a heritage railway in North Wales.
DUCKS Barry and Steve meet regularly to drink beer and discuss the world. Tonight their local sees the arrival of Michelle and Ruth, to discuss their men trouble. Fates are sealed when Barry invites the girls to join them….
MONDAZE Laura and Amy are schoolgirl friends. Amy constantly talks about 'doing it' with her boyfriend. Not to be out done, Laura invents a boyfriend of her own. Will the fantasy live up to reality?
CHAINMAIL Locked, bound and chained, a 7-foot tall ominous crate arrives at the home of an unsuspecting residence. On the very same night a mysterious death occurs tearing the family apart. A young man is certain a dark presence is held within.
AN UNSUITABLE BOY In London's Greek Cypriot Community, a 22-year old Georgia is forced to meet prospective husbands arranged courtesy of her matchmaking relatives. Her widowed mother Angela, an incorrigible flirt, skilfully handles the Mr. Rights from the Mr Wrongs whilst Georgia hides a secret that will put her in conflict with her cultural identity and Orthodox faith.
BUT ONLY HOPE Paul has spent a long time lying alone in the confinement of a hospital ward. His life starts to turn from bitterness and despair as Luke suddenly enters his life.
PINNACLE MAN It is Liverpool 2081. The sterile apartments of the rich are set above the grim reality of the world at ground level. The two worlds have become entirely separated until chance intervenes to force Lennon, a wealthy property mogul, into contact with Kaolin, a ground level girl.

The 'best selection' of films submitted to this year's Festival, accentuating the widest range of the art of Short Filmmaking. Illustrating the diverse nature and variety of topics, the different mediums and techniques adopted, and the different approaches in dealing with their chosen themes. Animation to CGI, lavish production to handheld DVD recorders, imagination and ingenious creativity are all represented in our Programme tonight.
TOMORROW'S FORECAST A mysterious friend helps Darren remember the recent events of his past that will shape his future.
FUZZY LOGIC We follow a day in the life of a computer game character and witness how his character is shaped by small events.
MAKING THE ENTIRE WORLD A short documentary film about the making and development of a music promo video made for a local Liverpool musician.
BACK TO THE FUCHIA In their garden of love he's sowing seeds of doubt laced with jealousy. But she has ripe manure to feed his trust and, hopefully, their relationship flower.
SLIPPIN A young man feels estranged from his peers despite his attempts to fit in. He tries even harder….
JOYSTICK Animated film exploring the co-dependant nature of relationships. Expressing the destructive power of love with a visual metaphor, that of a faun comprised of co-joined male and female bodies.
COLD CALLING Michael Watson, self-proclaimed 'King of Cold Calling'; is interviewing his doughy-eyed recruit William Jennings. With his arsenal of one-liners and enviable ponytail, he wonders can he still reel them in?

This evenings' Programme will be followed by the presentation of the Film Awards for S2F2 2008.
Immediately after the awards, there will be a networking reception event in the Centre's bar for all invited guests. A chance to meet and chat with many of the Filmmakers, Producers, Writers, Directors and even the actors from films seen at both this year's Festival and those from our past three years.

The S2F2 Film Festival is open to the general public to come and watch all six of the film Programmes being presented.
In all, over 100 different films will be shown at the Festival, a unique opportunity to see the very best of Short Film production.
